Extend Prolink+?
Hello, I'm trying to find out if I can extend the Prolink+ cable so it's easier to hide when the MPVI3 isn't plugged in?
I'm thinking cut connector off and solder some extra length.

No problems there, i recommend solder and marine grade heat shrink. Others will warn against solder in automotive applications.

If I can help it, I always solder any wiring that plans to be permanent(or at least a very long time). I dunno why you wouldn't...?
