99 Ford Contour Fuse Box Locations

My girlfriends ODBII port on her 99 Contour I believe blew a fuse. I am getting no power reading from the port and it's got a stupid check engine light on from god knows what. First HPT coudn't find it's interface, it finally did and then couldn't connect cause the port has no power. It states in the manual two places for the fuse boxes.

1. Under the Hood (Which is inaccessible unless you pull the battery)
2. Somewhere in the drivers side which I didn't see nothing for.

Where could the ODBII fuse be at? Need to make sure the stupid thing isn't blown before I try something else.

check the fuse for the cigarette lighter socket. The OBD connector is usually on the same thing. Its up to you to figure out where that fuse is.

BTW: HPT doesn't recommend scanning vehicles other than GM until they release software for other MFG's.
