    Manual Conversion for Dodge Magnum

Finishing up all the tiny steps at the end of converting a 5.7 hemi nag1 to a manual. In the HPtuners VCM editor there is a selection to choose which transmission is equipped. I disabled the 4 and 5 speed auto and enabled the manual then flashed the vehicle. Wiring for the clutch safety switch has been pinned into the PCM. However it still does not start and has a code for U103 Lost Communication with Electronic Gear Shift Module. Am I wrong in thinking the tune shouldn't be looking for the EGSM? I figured if there was a wiring issue it would throw the code for clutch safety switch. Anyone have any input on how well the transmission selection drop down menus work for Dodge PCMs?

    I've seen it done on a 08 Magnum and a 09 300, https://www.clevelandpap.com/b5-blue...8-manual-trans , check with them.

I've never done a Manual conversion on an LX body , I've done a few trucks , both T56 and 46RH , my 04 has old 727 in it now, had a 46rh/518 , with the trucks it's more then just the PCM toggle between types, in the truck, we have to wire pin 1 from the PCM to pin 1 on the 518 ,pin 4 on the PCM goes to Pin 2 on the trans for natural and 6 on the PCM goes to 3 on the trans for Back ups, on the Manual deal Pin one on the PCM goes to the clutch pedal safety switch, Pin gets grounded if I remember correctly.
