    '71 RoadRunner 5.7 Hemi Swapped

    I have a "71 Roadrunner with a 2005 5.7 Hemi/ manual trans swapped in. over all the car runs great and has a good idle, good acceleration and overall seems to be in order with the exception of coming to a stop and the vehicle dies, and the throttle doesn't fall very quickly when WOT shifting .
    I've tuned on this car for a few weeks and just can't seem to get the problem isolated. I don not use a VSS, because it's all mechanically driven off the transmission (A855)

    Stock Cam ? I have a 66 dart with a 6.1/A833 in it, PCM set up out of an 05 Durango. What worked for my dart is
    Engine>General>Displacement , it's set to 0
    Engine>Airflow>General>Sensed MAP is disabled.

    Also and I'm not sure this is your issue, or contributing to it.
    Engine>Torque Model>Loss>friction your table is stock. Might want to take from 4400RPM up ,all MAP values and reduce them by 10% , same with everything under 1200 Rpms ,

    I'm running a big custom cam in my 6.1 but it wouldn't idle for crap till I played around with the Friction table.

    Throttle after WOT , not sure where to direct you on that .

    Also all of my idle tables are




    A855 , tried buying one from Passon , but they were never in stock....did the T56 swap instead.

    These old school vehicles with hemis are absolutely cool. When I said goodbye to my 72 Duster, I was looking for a project and a '69 Dart with a hemi came to mind.

    Got it where it doesn't stall out and die when coming to a stop!

    Zero'd out all the idle tables and just set it to static idle at 872rpm.


    Still working on the throttle hang when doing hard wot pulls and shifting fast, it takes about 2-3 secs for the rpm to fall.

    What I wanted to say about idles , before I had a senior moment and forgot I didn't type it in..

    I make all my idle tables close to my desired Idle.


    Not sure about the throttle hang
