    .NET Error?

Hi, hate for my first post to be a help problem. After i have installed the software from the CD and I try to open VCM Editor i keep getting a .NET framework Error. I did a search on here for the same problem and came seem to find much but what i did was a link to a page to install the .NET software from Windows. Ive installed some .NET software and im still getting the same Error and it wont let me open any HPTuner software on my computer. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

    Thanks in advance, Chris

Try disabling any virus scanners you may have.

XP Home is very difficult sometimes.

what version of .net are you running currently?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

The complete Error message reads "VCM Editor.exe- .NET framework Initialization Error. Unable to find a verison of runtime to run this application.

Ive installed .NET verison 1.1 and i have Windows XP.

If I cant get this fixed on my computer can i run the HPTuner with someone elses computer that has HPTuner in it already and just use my hardware or it wont work that way?

Check out our demos section http://www.hptuners.com/help/getting_started_demos.htm

We recently inserted one on grabbing a VCM Suite info log.

No, I cant even open the VCM Editor or Scanner on my computer. When i click it, a Error message pops up and closes the program. It just keeps going over and over with the same Error message.

That would be my luck to have the first computer not want to work with the program!

Another question? If i dont get this program to work on my computer and I still take my serial number and code and load everything on another computer that isnt mine but does already have a HPTuner program that works on it? And whenever I do figure out my computer to make it work with the program can i go back and put everything on my computer? Hope im not confussing anyone with all that?

yeah, nothing is "locked" to one computer or another...the licenses are stored in your hardware & the software is, well, software & can be loaded & uninstalled at any time
