    2013 CTS-V Cooling Fan Parameters

I am new to HPtuners but have used other tools like Forscan in the past. I am not happy with the temp that my 2013 V cooling fans kick on at. I would like to install a cooler thermostat and have the cooling fans kick on sooner at a lower temp. Is there a guide available that shows which parameters would need to be changed to achieve this?

    Thanks in advance

You are limited ~195 degrees, unless you want fans on at all times.
You can try these settings, but even with 160 Tstat, aftermarket radiator and fans, I have cooling issues out here, when temps are 108+.
You will most likely see ~172 degrees in winter time with 160 when on the highway, but that's about it.
If anyone else got better settings, please do share.

Your 2013 CTS-V uses an E67 ECM, with GM OS 12653669.

HP Tuners offers an upgrade for this GM OS - to HPT OS 1250240 - which would provide you with the ability to control the cooling fans beginning at 160F (OEM is 192F).

This OS upgrade can sometimes be a little difficult for a novice tuner to use. It provides an actual VE table - but it is not populated by default (zeros only) - the end user has to sort this out on their own.
