    Torqhead Timing Problems

Just completed a 24X TORQHEAD conversion on my 1997 Firebird, it came with a custom tune to get me started with my new engine. I cannot seem to break in the engine without the headers glowing red! HP Tuner says the timing is at 41 degrees at light throttle and 2000 RPM ? Seems a bit high.. I tried added more fuel pressure but no improvement. Any suggestions on how to get the timing more in line with low speed light throttle for new engine break-in?

Didn’t get a chance to look but t the start up tune from any of these conversion places is not really a good start (other then the fact injector bank select is correct for the lt1 engine)
I do a lot of these, if I can help let me know..

But I would check system for a vac leak, as the system is most likely pulling all the timing out to lower idle speed hence the glowing headers from a reduction in spark. I’m sure IAC is 0 as well
