Finalized a C7 A8 with bolt ons (H / C / I), flex fuel, Stage 2 Comp Cam and a Circle D high stall. Was wondering if anyone that has dynoed C7's A8 before has experienced different power output between 4th and 5th gear pulls on dyno. Fueling, timing delivered, throttle %, was consistent between pulls (no timing pulled, no KR, no TQ management advance, full throttle 91%open....on either gear), yet for whatever (apparently mechanical) reason 5th gear made about 25 less WHP than 4th gear. Made 528WHP in 4th consistently, yet on 5th gear pulls made around 503WHP. TCC was also commanded to stay on 4th and 5th gear. Don't know if it's a common thing on A8's.
