2016 Cadillac Escalade 6.2 - BTR Stage 3 Truck Cam

As the title states 2016 Cadillac Escalade 6.2 with a BTR Gen V Stage 3 Truck camshaft (recommended valvesprings and pushrods). It does have stock torque converter.

I am looking for input/advice/guidance on improving the idle (smoother idle). This truck will buck pretty bad with foot in gear.

You need to dial in your fuel injector density multiplier table to make fuel trims the same from cold start idle to hot idle, then redial your maf and VE tables in - Ve will need to be dialed in with cam locked at 0 then readjust your quadratic terms to keep fueling the same with cam movement - this of course if you have a limiter and not locked.... After this move on to torque model. Try to focus your idle areas only to a peak where you want the torque to focus - you'll only be able to do this on the airmass side. Dial the map in as best as possible to match then play with your idle proportional, integral and reserve controllers... You should "hopefully" be able to get your timing swings down to 3 to 5 degrees after all of that work with a MUCH better idle. It's going to be VERY time consuming though. Cold start idle log with hpfp locked in at the logged row for the multiplier table. Going to take multiple days.............................................. ...
