    2015 Chevy 5.3L Help

    Hi all,
I just did a DoD delete on my 2015 Chevy Silverado. It has a Gen V 5.3L.
I installed a stage 2 cam, new lifters, the DoD plugs and new valve seals and springs.
I also installed the Phase block in front on the Cam Phaser.

When I went to start it it ran really rough and gave me a P0016 code. Now it won't start at all.
When I took the timing chain off(without removing oil pan), I made sure the #1 cylinder was at T.O.C.
I know it was hard getting the chain back on, however, IF it was off, it was only a tooth.

Am I doing something wrong in HP Tuners?
I disabled the DoD system already.
I tried reloading my original file I made before anything.
It just won't run. It starts runs for 5 seconds and dies.
I also did the Crank sensor relearn.

    Any ideas that might help?
I am hoping I can get it right with tuning instead of having to remove the timing cover again!

Any help would be so much appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Todd

Post the tune and log file if you want more help.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

I didn't look super close through your tune, but I think its unlikely any Stage 2 sized cam is going to be happy idling at 550 rpm or less.

You can't correct a 18-degree cam timing error with the tune file, if that's what it turns out to be.

edit: bad math, sorry - 16-degree. More or less.

So dynospeed in memphis has my 2015 Chevy Silverado.

This is what they are telling me I don?t have access to the tune files or I?d post em.
its pulling timing sometime while cruising out of the blue. Anyone run into this before?

    Cam Phaser Lockout Kit 5465

(Unlike the Summit Racing description, this kit completely
locks the phaser from moving. It does not limit movement
to just 20 degrees, it limits it to 0 degrees. Therefore it will
result in diagnostic trouble codes when the phaser doesn't
move as it's told to do by the ECM, which means a user
will need to pay for a ECM tune that disables the DTC.)

Post new thread at top of the related engine forum. Gen V is your DI motors for example. Make sure to include log and tune, full details and what it's doing. To upload the log and tune click on go advanced - manage attachments.
