VCM editor 3.4.89 version and software question

I have VCM editor 3.4.89 version and I'm using an MPVI Pro. If I update to the latest software, will it work with the MPVI Pro or will it not work, forcing me to upgrade to an MPVI2? Will I be able to edit and save tunes, run logs, and flash new tunes to the ECM without having to buy additional license/s when using the MPVI Pro on the latest software?

The only car that will be tuned with this is a 2000 Camaro and it's already licensed with the current software. I'm currently able to perform all the functions above without issue on the 3.4.89 software. The laptop I use has never been connected to the internet.

Right, but my question is does upgrading software when using an MPVI force you to upgrade to an MPVI2 to be able to use the MPVI correctly.

    No.

Our latest versions of software still support the MPVI.

I would just keep using what you have.
