As a side note I never understood why GM knowing that modifications are a fact of life, they did not, as smokeshow and a few others might understand just dont provide enough headroom for modifications in the OS. That way the safety nets would remain intact. Argue if you want but there is no reason it cant be done.

To what extent? As I understand, some of the forced induction kits run fine on the stock ECU with sensor clamps and timing control.

OP, I don't think anybody knows what you're asking and/or implying with this post.

I think he's implying that Trifecta has cracked the C8 computer and was wondering how long it would be till HPT does the same.

Ah ok, got it. Wonder if they do it via the OBDII port or a bench.

In part yes but goving enough headroom with the modifiers to accomidate large changes in airflow. Injectors might be somewhat of a hard barrier. Not to say that a learning algorithm cant be added to accomidate injector swaps.

I have spoken to them recently and they are considering an editor as well. IMHO there needs to be more competition in the consumer/prosumer arena.

Due to the extreme lack of any follow up, I'm going to bet that Trifecta didn't get very far.

What kind of follow up would be expected? New articles every week showing the C8 doesn't gain any power over the stock tune?

If they succeeded, they've probably got all the dialog going they want with the people that matter.

I hope to hell they did. My 2022 CT5-V has some pretty severe, erratic Throttle/turbo lag. It's my wife's car and she had been complaining the off the line acceleration really sucked, but not all the time. I drove it a few times now and she is 100% correct. It's not the same as the throttle blade profile lag we have on the C7'S etc. This is much worse.

Tuning for mods like heads/cam or boost etc would be an expected follow up.
