Cool New to HPTuners | What credits to buy for GM 12200411 PCM (96 Impala Torquehead PCM)

Just getting started with HP tuners suite and I am preparing for tuning my new 383 LT1 for my 1996 Impala SS. Cant seem to find information on which credits & how many are needed for both the stock PCM and the Torquehead GM 12200411 PCM I am converting to.

Any help understanding the right credits to purchase would be much appreciated.

    Mahalo,

You only have 1 options for credits, they are universal credits for the MPVI2.

A standard "411" computer is a P01 computer from early like F-body cars and GM trucks, an example is 98-02 year range. Those are all 2 credits to license.

Not sure why you'd want to license the stock PCM when you are switching to the LS computer, that would be a waste of 2 credits. Also I don't think 1996 Impala's are supported anyway, so you can't license them.

The supported vehicle list is right on the HP Tuners website, it says what vehicles you can tune and how many credits they take.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Your stock Impala SS PCM is NOT supported by HP Tuners. Just tune the 0411 and enjoy.
