My tuner ghosted me so I'm stuck figuring this out. After my dyno tune, tuner said HPTuners was missing some variables to fully dial in the intake so my tuner left off at "I'm going to contact HPTuners to get those parameters added". Months go by, no update, no follow-up, nothing. I decide to contact HPTuners myself and sure enough based on the limited information I gave them I was missing the RPM parameters for the 6.4L Intake Manifold that have the short runner valves.
I am not an advanced tuner, but I was paying attention to everything he was explaining so some stuff I say I don't fully understand. I was having a dip in my dyno chart at 4,600-4,700 RPM, like power was cut. It was really bad at first but my tuner smoothed it out the best he can given that the SRV parameters weren't there by advancing timing.
I'm seeking help to make adjustments to the SRV parameters (Low RPM Enable, High RPM Enable, Medium RPM Disable) to stop this power loss at 4,600-4,700 RPM. Also a very important question would be, if these parameters were to be modified would that cause any problems with the advance in timing that my tuner did to help temporarily smooth out the dip?
Dyno Tune File (has to open in VCM beta for the SRV parameters to show): DynoTune.hpt
Here is my dyno chart, my final run:
Here was one of my first few runs to show how bad the dip was (sorry for the bad pic):
