Recently bought this truck with 99k mi. trans has clean fluid,pan was clean,im sure it was off not to many miles ago.Before I put a converter in it,im reaching out here for help or advise,I pulled the valvebody off to see if TCC valve was stuck,all valves moved freely,I OHMs tested the PWM TCC solenoid and the converter on/of solenoid both in spec.
I have usedthe HP tuners tool to apply the TCC,when cold it takes about 8 seconds to come on and kill the engine.After its been running around 20min+ I apply the TCC at idle in gear,it does nothing it wont kill the engine.Here is a log,does anyone know what has to happpen for TCC MODE for it come on?Thanks in advance.
Pulled valve body checked TCC valves free,tested lock up on/off solenoid and modulated TCC solenoid,both tested in spec.Just replaced converter with rebuilt.
