BTR L83 Stage 2 VVT help

On the cam card there is info for "VVT Target Angle". I have done several Gen V vehicles with locked out phasers, but this is my first go with retaining VVT. Where do these values get input into HPT?

I'm assuming ECM 33135 "WOT Desired Angle", but I'd rather KNOW than assume

Yes, but also the tables just above that for "Desired Angle" Low 33100, Med 33102 , High 3303

It only lists one row of values, do I just duplicate that row for all airflow rows (0.04 to 1.24)?

GHuggins is pretty good at dialing in the VVT on these, but what you mention is a good start. Some try to use some higher values around the cruising speed like factory does for better MPG, and others I notice just duplicate the rows

The values on the cam card are listed as...

    "VVT Target Angle"
    RPM 4800 5000 5200 5400 5600 5800 6000 6200 6400 6600 6800 7000
    DEG 0.0 0.0 1.0 2.0 2.5 3.0 3.5 4.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 4.0

Yeah, it is leaving the cam in the full mechanical advance/park position until 5200rpm, and even then I think 4 on this table is actually about 0 mechanically (at least on a L86/LT1) . I think that very small move is why many even just lock the cam and then makes tuning much quicker since you do not have multiple torque model's and VVE models because of the VVT angles... Just depends on how much time you want to put into it.

Can someone verify this is the correct way to input these cam values?
I have this same cam coming up into a 2014. Just would like to be sure.
Makes perfect sense for the WOT Desired Angle. But also applied to all airmass rows top to bottom on Low, Med, and High???

    Thanks.

You can put whatever you want into the main tables, limiter allowed or course. Just make sure they correlate to the wot airmass areas with the wot settings. Everywhere below that and you can use what you want to.

    engine,airflow/variable camshaft/desired angle low,med,high maps
    wot desired angle/base
you should be 0 degree advance on all these tables until 5300 ish then 4 degree advance from there off the board

I disagree 100%. There is a decent amount of mpg's, drivability and low end torque to be had tuning those tables in...
