2000 silverado RCSB 4.8 rich idle

I have a 2000 RCSB 4.8, sloppy stage 2 cam, 78/75 turbo, intercooled, 2bar map, siemens deka 80lb injectors, SD tuning, 4l80e with 3200 stall.
Its been a great father/son build with the kids. I'm very new at hptuners and in the learning stages. You guys have a lot of knowledge and i wanted to see if you could give me some ideas on what to look at. We got everything completed and loaded a base tune. Fired it up and its idling super rich. I found the siemens deka 80lb injector info online but i seen all kinds of different info on it. I load my file and see what you guys think. Any help will be greatly appreciated.TURBOTRUCKREV2.hpt

Take some fuel out of your secondary VE table

i do not see a secondary VE table, is located next to the main ve under airflow?
Also look at how my timing is jumping anywhere from 0-35 very erratically.

Custom OS does away with the primary/secondary VE thing.

Min fuel milligrams under transient? I lowered it from .029 to .019 with not much change. What do you recommend?

You've got a few issues with the tune that are causing your "rich at idle" symptom.

The primary reason is the MAP sensor calibration. You had mentioned that it's a 2000 model Silverado 4.8L with 2 bar MAP sensor.

The tune is for a 2002 model Silverado with a 408 Stroker and a 3 bar MAP sensor.

That MAP sensor calibration has it idling around 94-96 kPa at 950 rpm. It typically would be in the mid 60 kPa range with a 4.8L and that cam idling at 950 rpm.

What is the part number of the MAP sensor that you're using?

Here is the tune with the proper MAP sensor calibration, engine displacement and a good base VE table.

thanks kevin that definately cleared things up for me i appreciate it.
its idling now about 15.8-17.2 afr.
Timing is still jumping up and down quite a bit but i dont know if thats normal or not.
i will post the log and tell me what you think needs adjusted.22-08-18 21-33-37.hpl

That looks much better! Now the MAP sensor is in the mid to upper 60's at idle as it should be.
It's pretty typical for the timing to move around at idle as the Timing Trim tables are active.
Now it can be properly tuned.

Feel free to hit me up if you don't already have a tuner. I'll get it dialed in for you.

I do not have a tuner yet, I have a Wideband gauge but it?s not linked to hptuners yet. I?m sure your gonna need me to get that hooked up before we can dial in the tune correct?

I will need the wideband in order to tune WOT properly. However, it isn't required for part throttle tuning.
