    Polling Failed !

I'm received a "Polling Failed" message when trying to apply credits ( Write to Vehicle)
Have MPVI2. Credits are available when looking at the web Profile.
MVPI2 "Sync Interface" seems to finish properly....

Anyone have something else to try ??

I see there have been posts about this before but NO solution posted...

    Thanks !!

I'm sorry you're having troubles and we'd love to help you. Have you already opened up a support ticket? If so, do you have your ticket number so that we can review the status? If not, please open a support ticket here: https://support.hptuners.com
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

In case this helps someone in future ... tech response was ..

The firmware of the MPVI2 is out of date.

Unplug the MPVI2 from the vehicle and laptop. Hold down the BT button and plug in the USB. At this point the green power light should be flashing. Create a new infolog and this will update the firmware of the device.

After the update completes attempt the write again.

Thanks for posting this! It was super easy. Doing a firmware update shouldn't be so hard to figure out since they're pretty common. I must of spent 9 hrs on Saturday trying to figure this out and after reading your post I was up and running in about 10 min.

Firmware updates typically go through on their own without a hitch. There are outlier cases though.

I had the same problem as the original poster. I couldn't re-sync to get my recently purchased credits and couldn't understand why. I actually had 2 other credits that didn't show up when I went to write so I bought 2 more. The Firmware update took care of the problem. I'm new to this so I still have a lot to learn. Don't use this very much as I just bought it to make small changes like idle adjustments and fan setting....easy stuff. It's been very helpful but I have about a day into a simple fan adjustment because I couldn't figure out the "POLLING ERROR" all good now though.

Not even sure what a POLLING ERROR is but I fixed it with help that I got here.

    Hi All,
Been reading through all the comments related to the "Polling error" - I've got the exact same symptoms:
Purchased Credits show on website - unable to apply to interface.
Tried all the suggestions above without success - Hoping someone has a new suggestion... Also turned in a ticket. MPVI2 - Version 5.0.4
