Question on scanner when logging gen v vehicles and oxygen sensors PLEASE READ TUNERS

So been seeing all gen v vehicles have a very lazy bank 2 once headers are installed and got to digging on a buddies car as wot the narrow are not even close to same like 50mv off each other. So looked for leaks any sign of a problem. We found some exhast leaks on KOOKS headers at those sorry pressed in bungs. He put a vacuum reversed blowing into the pipe and sprayed soap and sure enough one bung was leaking gen 6 camaro for those that now wonder if your car or a car you tune has some problem.
But the sensor is always lazy idle which I figured was from not enough heat too far down so on. Typical header issue but the bank 1 is not so bad. Im tuning his car and yet he finds this issue on MY channel list. Bank 1 sensor is poling at 0ms and bank 2 is poling at 200ms this is a default scanner setting. I have had the list for a long time and just kept adding to it so probably setup in a very old beta around 2017. So now I use my latest beta that sucks as missing tables for removing emissions controls(another thread topic) and I look at the settings available to me and there is no longer a 0ms and if I delete and re add them its now at 200ms on bother sensors so at least equal. I feel stupid for not seeing this but not something I thought I needed to check. He did a log on it with both at 0ms some older list from a buddy and low and behold its reading the same left to right at idle. This is a major screw up from hptuners on scanner settings. Maybe I should have caught that I just never thought to look at settings like this.

But now I see it and wanted to share Im sure someone is going to say I knew this you should have checked but for the rest of us on a very old list you may want to check it out.
Next whats the best setting? Slower or faster? is this the time it takes to process before it gives a value so longer maybe more accurate? that is really my main quesion on whats best. I have used narrow band settings to find anything from blower leaks to header gasket or sensor leak on many cars. While a narrow is not a wide its a good judgement point as the sensors today are not the narrow of yesteday with no heater we couldnt trust at all. I like to compare more left to right vrs giving me a value just more for balance of the engine. I have found 75whp on a car on the dyno that had a blower leak so find this as a valuable tool when its working as it should anyway.
So hoping for some of you guys like myself that have been around a little while to chime in on it please as I know most of you will read this.
    Thanks

I'll have to check my settings. I often see bank two behaving the same way. Usually the trims show bank 2 wants more fuel. I still use the narrowbands to ensure that LTFT's don't drift too far or go positive and add fuel at WOT.

The timing of this thread is epic. I actually just noticed this exact thing about a day before you posted.
I did some checking and my B1S1 is set to 0ms but it's not an option in the dropdown if I were to change it... only goes to 10ms. As for B2S1, it was set to 100ms and I only have the option to go to 10ms not 0.

I've gone back to 3.7 VCM scanner and 0ms isn't in the dropdown there either.

Yea so I put two more cars I tune on my new list and they run side by side now at 10ms. I cannot believe this problem has been a scanner setting all along. I can?t even tell you how many have replaced sensors including my own due to this problem.
Now I need to find better narrow band settings to wake them up some at idle. Playing with 19 zr1 settings so far and they look to run a little faster and not stick rich so often.
I have always blamed this on heat and was going to wrap the collectors as a test as I don?t drive in the rain anyway with my zl1.
Seems if build a new list using newer scanner it?s now choosing 200ms as default on both. But how many of us are on older made lists? I bet a lot.

I was thinking my bank 2 sensor was going bad as well. Had been looking up the specs to test it. They are working fine with with the polling interval updated to match.
