did you ever find a stock tune or a solution I cannot read my stock ecm either
Never done an L5P but, believe those ECM's are write only. Make sure you have internet on your laptop, and HPT will give you a stock file. Its not 'reading' out your ECM. Other's on here can confirm this though. Seem to think they were like the LML's in that manner.Originally Posted by 360oreo

if you swapped computers it wont let you read the original ecu. it downloads a file from the server. install the new computer, then do a read and crank relearn and you should be good to go.
