    Annual Whipple Spark-Plugs for 2017 Silverado 1500 5.3

Does anyone else experience spark plugs going bad once a year? I don't know if it is me doing something wrong or just something I should expect as normal.
Cyl 6 seems to go bad first every time. If I change the plugs it runs great for about a year.

    Thanks,
    -Batsy

Loaded my latest tune and log below for the curious. (I all ready fixed the IAT in this tune.)

This log didn't quite show the misfires because it does it more on the highway. I was driving home on slower roads when making this log and then the wheel hub failed on the drive.

Out of curiosity, what plugs & gap are you running? Headers?

When the plugs 'go bad', do they show signs of carbon tracking on the porcelain exterior?

    8 New NGK IRIDIUM IX Spark Plug LZTR7AIX-13 # 5107 https://a.co/d/1hAMYMb

    Gap them at .032
    Stock exhaust manifolds.

I don't see any carbon tracking on the porcelain exterior.

Just to keep this thread complete for future seekers. The plugs all seem to be fine. After changing them I am still getting an intermittent misfire. Going to swap Coil from Cyl 6 to Cyl 2 and hope the issue follows the coil pack. I'm really hoping there is not a bent push rod or spun lifter.

    Thanks for reading.

    New coils fixed the problem.
