Last two latest Beta's - Virtual Torque broken?

I can't edit Virtual Torque in the last two beta releases. No matter what I do, the numbers wont change. If I open the same file in 4.10.x, I can once edit Virtual Torque again.

We are aware and are working on resolving the issue.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

So this isn't something that just gets "unlocked" after going through the epa/advanced parameters class then? Haven't taken the class yet to know myself. Just thought this was part of it since a lot of other tables weren't editable anymore either until doing "this" class.

The non Beta 5.04 version doesn't allow Virtual Torque editing either. Interesting this is disabled and actually made it into the public release version 5.x. It's not like they will ever tell us, but I'm betting this isn't a mistake. There was just a firmware update to the MPVI interfaces too.....I wonder what sort of restrictions are secretly being implanted for later implementation.

You need to enter the device code into the parameter access window, this will open up any tables that are editable.

You can put away your tinfoil hat. This is just a bug that was only reported to us a few days ago that we are working on. We appreciate your enthusiasm toward our product!

So I don't have to take the "class" and pass whatever test there was or whatever? Just enter my interface number into the window and good to go?

You pass the test then you enter the generated device code(this is not the serial number of your MPVI interface) and enter it.

Hi Bill. So just to clarify. If I were to update to the latest Beta, with the passing of the parameter access (I did), updating of firmware on my MPVI2 W/pro upgrade to latest version, I will have access to previous removed parameters including "adjusting" them as long as I have agreed to only modify them as long as it does not break any of the CCA? As in it will work similar but better than suites of year(s) ago?

How about a link to the fine print before committing to 5.0?
I would be interested to see the T's&C's, in laymans terms in respect to what, if any information you have to report to ANY authority. Ownership, intellectual properties etc.

Yikes. The lack of response is all I need to know. I'll wait to update.

lol, post on a friday afternoon or evening, don't get a reply back until monday and the sky is falling? In any event taking the test doesn't add any parameters, it will allow you to adjust all of the parameters that were grayed out, nothing more, nothing less.

My bad. I apologize. My specific question is If I am using a mid version 4.xx and wanted to know if any or all of the items that could be "adjusted" that were no longer available in version 4.9 or so are now grayed out are now available as long as you take and pass the CAA course and enter in the code. I will now patiently wait.
