    6L80e torque converter slip

    Hi,

COuld someone advise me if this tcc slip is in normal range? Stock tune, stock converter.
    2007 COrvette 6.0L.

It silps everytime i push the accelerator pedal.

I'm wondering if this is normal or maybe the converter is dying?
    The desired slip is 0.

    thanks.

99% of the time it's unlocked in that log. And when it did command lock up, it never commanded long enough to get you locked. Few things you can do. What are you wanting it to feel like.

    Thanks

In the tune 1st and 2nd gear TCC is disabled (apply speed is 158mph)

The car probably won't be tuned now, maybe next year, but now we want to be sure the converter is not damaged. Is that slip we have normal in this car ?

Not the best log to look at, you're quite jumpy on the throttle. No flares or nothing stupid like that. Flashes up when you give it a bit. Constant slip when your throttle is constant. I think its fine bro.

Get it on the highway or a county road and drive at steady speed, while occasionally crowding the throttle. Log tcc pressure and slip speed. It seems these 6L’s never achieve full, consistent lock. Do a search on tcc regulator offset. I have a more detailed post on my experiences somewhere on here.
