2013 challenger RT

I need to up the rev limit some on a manual 2013 challenger RT. Can someone walk me thru it please. I have already adjusted the RPM limits in the engine section under Cutoff/DFCO and it did nothing.

you are looking to change park limits or what exactly are you trying to reach in engine speed

look at transmission limiter.

higher rpm at a stock rt are useless until you change the cam.

I ve installed the 6.4 cam, this will give you more hp in higher rpm.
The 5.7 cam is lazy over 5k.
Dodge want a clear difference between the models.

raise your limits, even the runtime limit.

Are you still running an MDS cam ?

Engine >fuel>Cut Off/DFCO> Park/Netrual and Drive , those tables are all stock, Need to change them to your desired RPM Limit.


Some Friendly advice,(if you still have) stock 5.7 cam @ 6500 RPMS , you are playing with fire , the 2010-2013 OEM springs open pressure is on the edge of the limit to control the valves above 6400/6500 rpms , and the valve to Piston clearence gets real tight on the exhaust side......I'm just saying been there done it and sometimes it's ok, and sometimes there are some bent valves to deal with.
