    reading scanner

    hi guys still learning this stuff and would like to know when connected to car 99 vette stock bring rpm up to 3000 and spark adv reads say 15 deg adv where do you find the info if this is correct or there is a problem this is just a example

    Look at the scanner charts that match the tables in the editor. For timing you'd be looking at the high octane timing table and in your logs you need to be watching engine rpm and cylinder airmass. That will show you were in the table it's getting a timing value from.

    On top of that number there are other tables that can change the final timing value. The spark correction tables from IAT, ETC and other can alter that final value and it's all stuff you can log in the scanner.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
