    VCM Suite v5.0 Now Available!

    VCM Suite v5.0 Now Available

HP Tuners presents VCM Suite v5.0 which is now available for download via our website here.
Our latest update of VCM Suite includes newly supported vehicles (internet connection required),
updated definition support with more parameters available, additional controller functions and a
wider range of scanning abilities and functionality.

We continue to work on expanding our support across all of the platforms that we offer, and try
to add as many different models as we can. It is also important to keep in mind that some of
the new support that we offer does require an internet connections when writing to the vehicle.
For more information, and to view the latest supported vehicles list, click here.

Please note, VCM Suite 5.0 is fully compatible with all generations of MPVI devices,
however some vehicle may only be supported on the newer interface.

Thank you from the entire HP Tuners Team for all your ongoing support, and please ensure you
follow us on our social media channels for all the latest updates!

    VCM Suite v5.0 Updates

    General
    • Advanced Parameters Training is released. Some advanced parameters will be locked until
you complete the training. Once you complete the course, enter the code into the software
under HELP > Parameter Access and the parameters will be unlocked.

    • Multi-language support is here. VCM Scanner and VCM Editor now support multiple languages
(toolbars and menus). Our team is continuing to add more languages and expand translations
within the software, so stay tuned.

    • Markers are back! While scanning, you can place a marker in the log by pressing the M key.
During playback, the marker will be displayed in the timeline.

    • Drive Cycle displays are added. This is extremely handy if you're emissions testing.

    • Improved Vehicle Profile Editor. This allows users to open/save vehicle profiles for easy
sharing as well as import them from a log file.

    • Improved histograms. A new type of graph is available in the Graph panel.

Will there be a firmware update that will prevent MPVI2 use with older 4.12.4?

Has anyone used their MPVI2+ with version 5 and then checked to see if their MPVI2+ still works with version 4?

I just quickly looked at a few files. O2 sensor related codes/tables and a few other emissions related things. Strangely the catalyst codes weren't blocked out.

After the training unlock, pretty much everything was open again. On the few files I looked at, a few Evap related codes were still not able to be modified.

I didn't resync or anything, but no forced firmware update on my MPVI2

Install newest beta which fixes the virtual tq calc bug.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

radz28, the exhaust valve stuff (I'm assuming that's what you're looking for) is in the CCM on Gen V stuff. You have to read the CCM and it's 1 extra credit I believe to license it. This is the process on a 2020 Camaro at least...

Any chance a more comprehensive change log is possible? I received an update that new parameters were released in the Beta (VW MQB 2.0T) and am curious if any of the new params are related to an issue I've been chasing. Would be nice to at least know what is new.

    Thanks!
