    SIMOS 18.1 Tuning any tipps?

    Hey,
    i put on a 1.8t a IS38 and trying to get some power but i feel like i don't get any power change or boost change.

    Do you mean the Max PR? i did increase that but seem not to change a lot.

    you need to learn the ecu before trying to tune these..

    you didnt raise max intake air, you did nothing to TTA/ATT tables, aircharge to tq is not good.

    max PR is pretty low.... put it at least 3.5-4

    you will also need to adjust cam angles to get top end out of it.

    Turbo Upgrades on these ecus require extensive Turbo Model work for correct functionality, there a few documents you can read on how raising boost, remember is a complex torque model system yet very simple if proper data is applied, I attached a simple document you can read and will guide you thru the process of increasing torque and a few limiters you need to address, NOTE: You can get away if you have access to the is38 turbo flow model it would make life easier , pm me and I can send you the data if you don't have a Golf R ecu read

    Thanks so much for the Input i will research more, i try to learn and tune, i will look at the cam angles do you have any suggestion on that?
