    6l80 to T56 Wiring Questions

    Car in question: 2007 Corvette

Done with the 6l80, already have everything to swap the t56 in.

My main concern is the canbus. I'm assuming since it runs to the back of the car, the tcm has a termination resistor built in. If that is the case, just add one and hopefully everybody still talks? Wiring isn't my best skill. My plan is to adapt the rest of the MT harness to the AT harness.

Nope, diagram shows the TCM as being a pass-thru: 2 in, 2 out. So you'd just connect both ins together and both outs together. No added resistor.

GM decided not to show the terminating resistors for whatever reason, but there's one internal in the ECM and another in the harness near the DLC. All the other modules are pass-thru.

Of course, what that should say is 'both CAN HIs together and both CAN LOs together'...

That makes it easier. I appreciate the response! I'm sure I'll have more to ask in the future.
