I passed the training, got the device code, entered it, resynced the interface, shut down, and restarted the editor, and all the parameters are still greyed out. What am I missing to unlock them? I'm using version 5.0.4. Edit: Disregard, it's working all of a sudden. I messed with it for about 20 mins yesterday and it never worked, same today. I didn't try anything new other than refreshing the link and syncing the interface over and over.

I am having the same problem.
I have changed device codes and resynced and still cant get the parameters editable.
I am just trying to get o2 sensors that someone tuned off to work again.
I just completed the course and generated the new device code. All worked without any issue.
Did you click Refresh device link on parameter access.

Same issue. Shift pattern mapping table (30000) and a few others are "read only"
Did the course, input the code did the refresh and re sync, re start laptop and refresh again. still nothing.
I was using this table yesterday!

Yes, did the ticket and had a response. HPT has now decided that those tables should not be allowed to be changed. The older software was a mistake. I'll start over on my tune.

I'm having the same problem. I can't edit the parameters again regardless that I completed the training, my code is entered into the editor and shows valid. I was just using this stuff yesterday. Time to go back to good ole 4.x. This new version is garbage. This basically means they can void all of the codes regardless if you did training or not. The EPA must be flexing on them some more to edit the training or to block more parameter access permanently.
I logged into the portal and generated a new code. Applied. Still doesn't work. So either HPTuners stuff is broken, or they purposely but quietly locked all of us 5.x version adopters out. Had to roll back versions to finish a tune today.

I was able to uninstall 5.04 then re-install the 5.0xx Beta and I can edit the parameters again.
Are people still having issues with this? I updated HPTuners yesterday, have done the course, etc. and parameters are still locked for me. I'm restarted everything a couple times now
Are you using the current beta version?
Current stable and after looking at a couple other tunes I have, it might just be the diesels that keep some parameters greyed out?
This is nonsense! Same here. Bought a device for my racing car tuning, done all those courses, attached, resynchronized, etc. and still gray. Contacted support as @Bill@HPtunners offers and got a respond that i have to have an AdBlue in my racing car. This is a SCAM! Getting my money back...
Why even include a parameter if we dont have access? Id rather not see what we are paying for but not able to edit.
Are we going to have to find another tuning software package?
