2008 Ngc4 issue

Hey everyone i got a 2008 computer for my 73 challenger 6.1 545rfe combo and swapped out my 2004 that was in it so i believe that was ngc3 . I noticed i have Skim on it so it would start for 2 seconds or so and die so i turned on my laptop and was going to attempt to remove the skim stuff and i get an error of ?Detect Protocol Failed ? message . This is the fist time i have encountered this as i can get into everything else . My dads Camaro, my old pcm , my Chevy c2500 etc . Any suggestions on this would be fabulous ..

have you opened scanner to see if you can connect to the car , my exp on that with swap cars something going on with OBD port not HP TUNERS side of things

Yes i can?t connect the scanner either My 2004 pcm works fine this 2008 does not . I did try to start the car and it started but it ran for an about 2 seconds and shut off. it?s now locked me out .Thus the reason why i want to get into it . Also i noticed that i have a Pci computer and the new one is Can for protocol so maybe there is something with that .. But nobody said you couldn?t use that they said i could go up to 2010 on pcms

I didn't think about Alfa OBD, kept thinking he was having issues with the 04ECU and Not the 08 .....Good Catch.
