MVPI 3 update fail

i have been using my MPVI3 for about a week now and everything has been fine since i got it and then it said it needed a firmware update so i got it set up for the update. and then it stopped and said erasing failed on the interface update. tried to resync it stops at reading interface, and moves no further. ive tried different cables, different computers, made sure i had the latest version of the vcm suites and same result
