Thread: Which table? GEN6 CAMARO

    Which table? GEN6 CAMARO

    Anyone know which table is responsible for the Rain/Snow mode? Reason I ask, at 900hp traction is an issue and I wanted to see how that mode compares to normal mode. Not sure if it's a timing table and/or torque table, but if the settings aren't too much lower it might be worth it depending on temps and tires.

    should be in Engine->Tq management->Driver Demand->map B-Winter/4wd. tour and sport are map A and track is map C

    Most of the stuff doing the work is in the bcm, but you can log accelerator mode and find out. Depending on what year it will be either map b or c.

    I am guessing it is Table B. When I went back and looked at the stock tune A and C were the same, but B was different.

    there is a map which is not accessible with hpt, which assignes the DD maps to the modes. most likely winter and normal mode share the same map.
    can you make a screenshot of xour calibration details and i will check it

    I've seen some cars where Winter/4WD is actually used for Track Mode.

    that's not what i need, click on "edit" > "calibration details" and do a screenshot.

    What are you using to view maps not accessible with hpt?

    Does winOLS have definitions for e92 ecu's, or you just have to be able to define tables yourself out of the hex?

    i havent seen thid OS yet, but the description tells it's a ZL1 right... so
    normal/sport/eco = Map A
    Track = Map B
    Winter = Map C


    WinOls is more or less just a very good hexeditor you have to find all the definitions yourself

    Thats interesting, cause when i look at the stock tune, MAPs A and C have the same tune, but B was less. I would think B would be the Winter/Rain tune??

    Look at the throttle progression when you're always above 50% throttle and 4000 RPM. B mode is actually track mode for most Camaro and Corvettes. The labels are not correct. I just tuned a 2017 ZL1 the other day and had to adjust the B table as the owner wanted more throttle response in track.

    I looked at 2 other 2017 zl1 stock tunes and both showed A and C higher than B(winter)

    Could there be a difference in auto vs M6? Mine is auto.

    no there is no difference between AT and MT.
    GM mostly has the less responsive pedal in Track mode for better control, same on my ATS-V for example.

    On my V I allocated map C to winter mode, as C wasn't used stock and even reduced throttle progression and max power request for snowy conditions

    there is a nother table which chooses to sustain the used mode over ignition cycle, in most stock file this is only active for sport and tour mode,but not for track or winter, so you always have to choose it again when restarting the car
    fixed that on my V too, nice gimmick
