E92 ECM transfer data timed out error

Been trying to solve this issue for a couple days now. I can flash this E92 ECM with my bench harness with no issues but when I try to write calibration or write entire I get the transfer data timed out error.

When I start the write process, it gets to the Download boot loader: 10.2% then times out. Every single time. New battery, alternator charges when the vehicle is running so I do not believe it is a battery issue like I have read about. Double checked my can bus wiring and all that.

    Any suggestions?

This sounds like something you'll need to open a support ticket for.

Mike, please open a support ticket and we'll be happy to look into it for you.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I did, thanks. Reconnected the cables, retightened the screws at the interface and tried a different USB port.

After all that it worked? Logged fine in the same configuration it would not write.

yeah I wouldn't be surprised if its a usb port issue of some sort.

Thanks, makes me feel better if it is expected

Just curious why it would scan without issue but not write?
