Has anyone turned on an electric fan output on an LBZ/LMM ECM? In HPT there are fan settings, I have not located a ECM pin position for the output after some research. Anyone know if its possible?

Electric fans on the LBZ do not give you near the cooling as the stock engine fan. The stock one flows an incredible amount of air. If you go electric, however you wire it, things will run hotter towing a load especially higher trans temps.
I believe the only Duramax of that vintage that used an ECM controlled fan clutch was the LMM Kodiaks. Probably only possible with that specific ECM.
Thanks for the responses. To address the fan airflow concern this is for engine swaps into car/hot rod purposes and electric fans are desired.
What I found is that the van chassis duramax's had an electric fan clutch, this setup can be used to activate an electric fan. I am not sure if the pickup OS supports the e-fan. I want to do some experimenting the next time a truck ECM comes in. I will post my results.

Hot Rod swap huh.....Gotcha.....Awesome carry on sir. Sounds like a lot of fun.
It should be stated that I am not the one doing the swaps, I am simply setting up ECM's for my customers. I have done about 10 now, LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM. Examples include a 1950 Hudson, 66 Oldsmobile, 71 C10, Hummer H1. Thats all I can remember.

Yes the tables are there, but I am curious if the operating system has the output turned off regardless of the data in the table. I know the van operating systems work.

Here is the pinout from my Medium Duty Service Manual.

Anyone ever figure this out for the pickup OS, or do we just use the medium duty, or use the Van OS?
