This is a test file I made from my stock 08 Corvette file to verify your recommendations. Please compare this to your file and see if this is what you are referring for changes. Thanks for all the input.

i have logged it many times the lower it is the less timing pull in between shifts...
Hum, that's backwards from what I want to achieve. As I read you are saying is the lower the number (.500 vs. 1.00 for example) the less timing is pulled. If that's the case then a number greater than 1, 1.500 for example, should be programmed. I want timing pulled so I get some TM. With TM disabled you get full timing at shift. I would like to see around 10*+ at shift vs. the even a few negative frames I'm seeing.
try .30 or .25 those should still net u a postive timing but pull some... i think if i remember right with my car at .29 i saw like 7-10 at shift then it would ramp back up..
1.00 is 100% TM
.50 would be 50% TM
.30 would be 30%
get it?
i logged everywhere from 1.0 to .3 then i removed it totally...
See reply #56.
I compared your file again. I got some changes for you to make, go ahead and get rid of the all the shift adders zero them out, if u find any negative numbers leave them. Like 04Blackgmc said, make all the shift times the same, and in the max adapt max make that 40 to 200. Scott Breamer wrote up a very interesting explanation for how the TM works and how to desensitize it. :D

Yes, good write up Scott has started.
See if this gets all the changes you and 04Blackgmc are suggesting. Personally, I'm mostly interested in up to 3-4 shifting for 1/4 mile. Some might want to go ahead with the taller gears as well. Might be easier on those tall gears to leave stock?
Has Anyone See Any Or Found Any Ways To Make The Manual Mode Somewhat Faster Than Stock?
