I definitely don't like the sound of that. That's too much pressure bottoming out the lifter. No telling how close you are to lifting the valve off its seat. Also, no telling if there's any travel...

Injector data isn't correct and it's not setup correctly for what I assume is a return style system.
If you have the CTSV file open in your compare feature you can see all the differences.
The Baro linear and offset are right above the map sensor linear and offset.
Sorry, not right above....
If you have an automatic transmission you need to start with an auto file.
Or you can segment swap yours. The only reason to do that at this point in the game for you is so you won't have to...
BRAF is way too high for that cam.
Not all the injector data is correct. You only changed some of it.
The Baro sensor is still incorrect.
Any of the stock style lifters, if not limited travel should be fine at 1 turn worth of preload which is almost exactly .050. I think it's .048 actually.
Did you drop in solid roller lifters to check? Install checker springs? If you didn't at least use checker springs it's not correct.
You can't just use the hydraulic lifters and the installed...
That may be your problem. I've seen aftermarket roller rockers cause weird stuff up top. Just like yours is doing. You really can't do much better than stock rockers with trunnion kits for 99% of the...
You need to pull a CTSV file off the repository. Pretty much none of your injector data is correct. The Baro sensor is incorrect. You have WAAAAAY too much idle timing in it. That's about all I...
Post the 2 different tunes and corresponding data logs. No one will be able to tell you anything without them.
It's about the only chemical "fix" I've seen that actually works.
I wouldn't worry about data logging that. Wait until you have something worth logging.
Bone stock VE and MAF tables. IFR has been LOWERED for some reason. Everything about that toon is too much fuel.
All they did was turn off a bunch of codes. It is in no way a startup file for the...
Instead of adding to the startup airflow table you can reduce the cranking fuel. Typically, if it takes more throttle angle to start it's too much fuel, especially with larger injectors.
The just the way it is. You can't modify an engine yourself, then if something happens to it "blame the tooner".
Yes I agree. Not sure why you're trying to argue with me. After looking at it closer yesterday, I agree it doesn't look like an intake/throttle body issue.
My comments about it not pulling to...
Do you have a catch can on the car?
First thing I would do is an "induction service". Suck some Seafoam into the intake while running. It'll clean all the oil out of the intake and de-carbon the...
Same as the LS. If you wanna get fancy order a 7-4, 2-3 swap cam and BOOM, LS firing order.
I agree. The MAP bump indicates the airflow slammed on the brakes.
I didn't say this looks like an intake manifold. My statement was in general. Stock plastic intakes aren't going to pull to 7500 rpm. That's just fact. Even an LS7 won't pull much beyond 7000 on a...
Yeah I'd start with a P59 and 8.1 calibration.
Didn't look up the specs. But the intake still won't let it pull to 7500. The cam itself should, but you'd still have to have the heads and intake.
Everything BTR grinds for cams will work with your average .650 or .660 LS spring.
Nothing with a plastic stock intake is going to pull to 7500.
Valve train is the 2nd biggie when it comes to...
Something can't keep up.
