Ya, same here. Sure sounds like his trans was changed at some point.
Did a tune for a guy a while back, he has a 2002 Grand Prix GTP I set up his shift point using my standard tune. 1-2 shift is set to 43 mph and 5850 RPM. He said it's shifting at about 6500. I...
Turn off high speed and try that.
Don't look like a MAF problem, or a AFR problem. But what I do see is your speed when you have the KR. Could be a noisy transmission. Do you have a shift kit? I've seen those help ease some KR,...
I have a 1997 SSEi
I've heard they do go bad. But I can't find a replacement. I can find new PCMs, but they all say use your KM.
In my case I've rebuilt the engine 4 times, replaced all rotating parts and sensors. Only part not replaced is the knock module in the PCM.
I think mine might be from a solid engine mount I have on the front trans. In any case, it's not real KR.
Well, after replacing or testing everything but the radiator cap, I finally made some adjustments to the Knock Retard Attack Rate vs RPM table. I knocked down the areas from 0 to 2400 RPM. I didn't...
You change the injector flow rate vs KPA and set them all to 45, save, your done.
No need to change the MAF curve unless your doing porting, changing the MAF, or it's off for some other reason.
Injectors are all good, plugs look good, balance test is very even.
No vacuum leaks, intake is good.
Ran without belt on the supercharger, no change
Knock sensors arn't the problem, 3...
Cool, thanks, I was figuring it was somewhere around 4.10 So just enter that with stock tire size and done right?
I'm going to be changing gears in a park ave from 2.93 gears to 3.69. I know how to make the change when going from 2.93 to 3.29 by entering 3.69 with stock tire size and hit commit. But what do I...
Positive numbers on the LTFT are lean, it's adding that much fuel. So if your 5% lean, your LTFT will be +5. So positive numbers you add fuel.
OK, an update. I replaced the torque converter with a stock one, and no change to the KR. I really have no clue what to try next. I've rebuilt and replaced everything. Any other thoughts?
It's been a while, but if I remember right, I rebooted my laptop and reconnected the battery on the car. You should be able to connect again and flash the PCM.
That's happened to me 2 times. I disconnected the battery and rebooted the computer. Then it worked fine.
If you times by 1 it's the same, .98 is 2% off, .95 is 5% off, 1.02 is plus 2%, 1.05 is plus 5%.
Ohh, that's looking a lot better. Look at your average LTFTs. Not going to get much better then...
To remove lets say 2%, I times what I have by .98, to add I times by 1.02 So lets say that area of your MAF looks like this.
0.732034692
0.821861233
0.918915198
1.021131608
1.13160793...
Adjust by times .5 of the amount your off. That will then work you in closer and closer.
If you take your last scan and run it, then go to your histogram screen and click 3, that's your LTFT averages. This is more important then looking at the LTFT at any given time. You will see your...
You want your LTFT to be between +5 and -5 as close to zero as you can. Your not going to get it perfect. But ya, if you have one area that's running high or low you can adjust just that area of...
I have mine set around 40% TPS
The PE table is on the fuel tab, then power enrichment, add vs RPM. That should be turned off. Click the hot button and change it to 100, that way PE never kicks in. Then you can get the MAF curve...
