It's been my experience that the Dodge GPEC2 ECU doesn't read boost about 14 psi (roughly 200 kpa). so you have to do some scaling trickery. I haven't completely figured it out yet, but I'm working...
From what I can tell 5.0.3 has all of the EPA stuff incorporated. Which means you won't be able to mess with cell codes or turn certain sensors off..... I'm personally not going to upgrade my current...
Thanks for chiming in, looks like I'll be waiting till December and ordering an entire new interface. Will support for the MPVI2 stop at some point
I'd like an answer to the question of ordering the MPVI3 and keeping my MPVI2..... Specifically, I'm sure the MPVI3 will come loaded with the new 5.0.3 firmware feature set, which in turn will...
Why is setting the max KPA to 195 the solution? I'm good with inputting those values, but I like to understand what is actually happening.
Just wanted to report back, my tune was cleaned up by a tuner. I had some bad data put into the injector scaling. That cleaned up a lot of my issues. I'll get into the boost limit issues here soon
So I'm not 100% on this, but I've been told and have heard that for the 09-14 gpec2a ecu's they do not handle boost levels above 200 kpa ~ 15 psi of boost. If this is the case the hack for this is to...
I'm in the same boat as you. From what I've gathered, the 3 tables work together. Sensitivity is controlled by setting the voltage in the rpm range to 3.80(3.79) from 1k-6k, it should allow you to...
So I'm having somewhat of a similar issue, with my VE tables seeming to not be in control. I have my Cam Phaser locked out completely.....Am I understanding that to properly Speed Density tune, I...
As a matter of reference, 6.1 cars and 03-08 5.7 cars used NGC3 controllers, which ran off of Speed Density. Neural Network shouldn't be selected unless it is a 09+ vehicle, which wouldn't have a 6.1...
Hey thanks for posting that tune file.... I have an 04 that I'm about to do some upgrades too. This will be very helpful.
The 3bar MAP setting look to be correct. I can't speak to the injector data, as I can't open up the file here at work
So I have a buddy with a Hellcat, that swapped to a 105 Tb, and he is getting very same issue at Part Throttle.... If I may ask, what is the max the P2173/2174 field can take. I don't want to put...
Anyone, have any idea about this issue, I'm wondering if I will run into the same scenario with my GPEC2a PCM 11-14, with a 3 Bar Map
Hemituna, thanks for all of the knowledge you share on this platform..... I'm nearly complete with my 392 twin turbo build, and I plan on using most of the information you've put out here.
You will have to swap the reluctor wheel to the 2010 for the PCM to work. While both are 58 tooth wheels, the distances are different which makes the signal different.
Thanks for this thread 732mopar, both here and on CT. After going through some data from the tuning school, this is what they recommend as well. Glad to see our community sharing knowledge like the...
Thanks for the response, if I change the settings in the diagnostics section to your recommended settings, can I log greater then 200kpa in HPTuners? I have both a 2bar & 3bar map. Just trying to...
What is the maximum boost a GPEC2 ECU can read. I've read it will only recognise up to 200 kpa using a neon SRT4 map sensor. I'm curious to know if this is true or not?
Speedy you are correct, about NN not using the VE tables. If you aren't tuning using VE/Speed Density then you have to scale by logging a making changes and so forth.
This was quick
Very good information here guys. I'm planning on referencing it as I get closer to firing up my TT build. Much appreciated

Pablito, you are correct, you can not use VE tables when using ANN. ANN makes decision off of air fuel ratio's commanded and conditions. VE, are based off of AFR, commanded and desired from what I...
Very good read fellahs. I'm in my infancy stages of gathering information for my Twin Turbo 6.4 project. I will use some of these tips and ideas for my tuning when the time comes for me to take that...
