Quick question. Those that run open loop maf tunes, once you get it tuned do you leave STFTs enabled for open loop or turn them off?
what should I log that would tell me if it is adjusted the fueling?
ok thanks, it makes more sense now. I was having trouble getting it to reach commanded once it got up the rpms.
Been having some trouble tuning after installing longtubes and a cam. Just a simple question, on the stock operating system with properly tuned injectors should I see any VE Table values above 100?...
To soften the shift wouldn't he raise the MV values in the 0 psi column?
Yeah im thinking the older TBI motors used a temp sensor in the manifold. Of course the computers have come a looongs ways since then.

I don't know all the factors that decide whether it comes on or not... but it is more based on engine load. Cruising on the interstate when you peak the top of a hill and let off on the gas a little...
I was wondering how soon DoD parameter editing will be available.
Mainly just looking for a way to disable it. The gas mileage is nice, but the constant bucking of it engaging is very annoying....
Those are the values in there for the stock tune... so maybe it is the same. I may set the TPS trans pressure modifier and give it a try.:shrug:
Well i disconnected the maf and it sure didn't like it. Transmission went to default high pressure, plus lost traction control and stability control. I was wanting to scrap the pos maf that comes on...

I thought I read that the LS2 type vcm/tcm with an automatic would default to max transmission pressure and disable traction control. I hadn't tried it yet for those reasons. I will just try it and...
Loaded up the new 2.1.12 version. Was thinking about going with the 1 bar SD. But it shows not available while the 2 bar is available. Says "Convert from 12604792 to 1250157" under the 2 bar SD...
Sounds good to me. I think I found the solenoid connections under the throttle body so for now ill just unplug them and disable the ses light for the codes and see what happens...
Been messing around with tuning the LS4 in my grand prix. I was wanting to deactivate the Displacement On Demand and just see what the difference in gas mileage really is. I don't see any tables...
