Can this be used with an mpvi or mpvi2? I assumed it was only for the RTD version?

Can this be used with an mpvi or mpvi2? I assumed it was only for the RTD version?
1. Contact previous tuner for unlock.
2. Possibly flash a stock file using OEM tools.
3. Replace ECU and pay to relicense the new one.
Yes sir.
Open the log, click details on the bottom left. You will see the codes there.
Post your tune file.
Multiplying by 1.28 would increase the fuel factor by 28%. The correct way to tune it would be to log it and use a flex fuel sensor which would read ethanol percentage. Be sure to log injector pulse...
:):pray::)
@pbarton2120 Did you ever get this figured out?
Russ K, would you happen to have any A6 examples? I am tuning a 6L45 and would like something to compare to. TIA
:p:p:p
Thanks for the info!
I contacted AEM and they replaced the gauge. I have only seen the problem once since then but it was when I unplugged/reconnected the obd2 connecter and the car was running. I assume that sent some...
Sounds good, thanks.
So does this mean I can swap a t87 in to a 2017 Corvette Grand sport and not have to go the unlock route?
Bill, can you offer a reply to my post above with a little color, possibly?
I mean it is 2020, a strange year indeed! Ill say that again, its 2020. Android and iOS have been around for a long time.
I thought they hired an Android/iOS programmer a while ago....
I believe HP Tuners should offer the unlock as a service, at a minimum.
Here is how it should work....
The unlock will write a factory image back to the ECM.
This way the work of others is...
My approach would be to go back to a bone stock trans tune. Do not change anything on the engine side and then run the car and see if the issue persists. Also, if you can shift it without the problem...
It is a shame there are no mobile options available that are functional with the MPVI2 with regards to tuning. I would be happy with an Android version over USB C.
Are you certain you have the injector data correct?
Yea, I picked up an original MDI off eBay. I had the VCX Nano. It was all hacked SW and buggy as hell so I returned it.
I didn't want to take a chance writing anything with buggy HW/SW. I suppose it...
Isn't there a software emulator called Tech2Win?
Welp, there you have it. What a shame!
I wouldn't accuse the tuner of anything malicious. Maybe ask some questions about his approach on how the vehicle was tuned. If you don't understand why it is being questioned, then the conversation...
Hmmm this seems strange. I am curious to see what the resolution might be.
