There is no help section other then this one and i can't pm bill so....
Can you change my forum name from 'spinner' to ''Dietcoke"? thanks
Timing looks like shit. Here's one for a similar setup that I did. Try it and see if you like it.
43540
It's a TSP shortblock. I did the rest. FIC pointed me in the right direction with the tune, going to make some changes and see where it gets me.
Vengeance is going to re-tune the car next week....
Yes.
Its a vacuum pump, junior. There is no way to incorrectly route it, and it PUMPS out vapor.
Engine does have lower miles, around 1500-2k, but isnt brand new.
It's built for 400 of spray, the gaps are loose intentionally, and that is not what is causing this issue.
I'll take the car for a short drive and make another recording, see if I can get it more pronounced (it is when the engine is warmer).
Unfortunately the camera doesnt pick up on the vapor very well since it's microfine, even in 1080p but you can see it at the end a little if you look at the fuse box. It's straight E85 vapor, the...
It's done it since the motor was new. Doubt it'd be a broken ring. The car makes power (600+ n/a) and compression. The vapor is minor with breathers, but you get a shitton of it with the vac pump...
It isn't a smell, it is a cloud of fuel vapor (literally) out of the breather. It does not matter if the engine is cold or warm. I'll take a video tomorrow to illustrate what I mean.
I should add that besides the fuel vapor, car idles like a champ once it settles down.
Right now I'm pushing too much fuel at idle.
Running FIC1000s and I'm getting an asston of fuel vapor out of the catch can/vac pump at idle. (E85 fuel). What can I change to fix this and lean this...
Is your neutral limiter set to 4000 rpm? (rpm by gear)
Also, for rev limiter you have to go into speedo ---> limiter and set the source to 'calibration' and not GMLan. That may be causing your...
I have a similar issue
Fastlane makes a direct-fit engineered solution using two 255lph walbros in a factory style bucket. Works great to ~900hp
So minimum idle being lower helps idle? I raised it thinking the computer would make an effort to keep idle above that number. Perhaps I've been working against myself.
Alright, it runs pretty good, and idles fine once it finds idle and when driving. The issue I have now is it doesnt want to find idle on initial crankup, and shortly afterwards coming off of...
It will work. I've updated/uploaded/scanned/changed my tune.
So less fuel, spark at idle and more idle speed. Sounds easy enough.
M6 btw
Looking for some clue as to where to start to make a big(ger) cam idle decently on an ls3 for a few days until I can get to a tuner. It's the TSP 231/236 111 (intake, long tubes, pulley, etc). If...
Frost, what I meant by that was they both effect the end result of actual AFR, not each other. I worded it wrong.
MAF/VE is just the other end of the seesaw. Both sides of the table effect each other.
Any good ideas where to start on the fuel table? I'm used to lambda, but this pcm table doesnt seem to show it, but rather the modifier. I'm assuming this is the one used to adjust WOT fueling (PE)
I'm still trying to figure out how to turn off torque management.
