The shorter the gears(higher ratio numerically) will accelerate faster. It effective is a torque multiplier.
With vw/audi typically the final drive is the biggest change between different...
Your attachment doesnt work. Please post your stock file and the two edited version so we can see what the problem is.
To answer your question once your TCU is licensed, editing the file wont...
Ah ok yea, its a pretty odd/rare setup that was only on like 1 yr of TT or something. MED17 ecu but almost a gen3 engine setup. Does HPT support that ecu?
Nice yea he is local to us and have worked with him quite a bit.
HPFP usually runs out a bit past ~425chp. Autotech makes an upgrade for it, will definitely help/be needed for ethanol
Tyler would know more than me but I dont think it will ever be right running mafless. The maf is needed for load/torque which is how everything works on these ecus.
That tune from Berk?
Why not upgrade the hpfp? To the best of my knowledge the lpfp is pretty stout.
Share the actual files. TCM46952 doesnt mean anything other then to HPT.
Gonna have to scan the car and see. It could have probably dozens of combinations of ecu part numbers and types.
Just an idea based on what I do is label the file with the year, model, engine or trans, and the actual part number as it makes it easier to identify later.
Your A4 and A6 arent dq250. This post was about the dual clutch transverse gearbox. You have the ZF regular automatic in those cars.
Thats a limitation so to say of the ecu/security. I dont believe any tuner can read the stock ecu through obd2, even if you could I have a feeling it would take a long time. There really is no reason...
Its always going to be a stock file provided.
HPT probably doesnt support the engine on that as its a diesel.
Plus I would recommend to most to read them separately or else when you go to flash it I believe you will have to credit both.
Are you looking for something specific or just one to check out? The problem is, unlike domestics, european cars are notorious for multiple different ecu versions every year. Some are interchangeable...
post the before and after files.

This was sarcasm, but even if it wasnt why would HPT sue them? If the manufacturer didnt try to prevent people from getting in HPT wouldnt exist.
I get on older ecus it can make it a...
I mean GM/Ford/Dodge/Etc tried to prevent you from getting at their work, are you gonna take them to court? Im not sure why this is such a heated topic. On lots of newer cars you can get away with...
Ive been reading out the MK7 2.0 cars for a bit now trying to build up a database and cover as much as possible. Actively trying to find a car to buy or borrow to test on. Had a MK7 R and got rid of...
