My engine would stumble and fall flat at mid RPM, but I was able to limp home at low RPM. This was with a Mazda, fwiw.
In my case, the problem was solved with a water repellent pre-filter wrap, e.g. AEM DryFlow or K&N DryCharger. This would probably only be relevant to you if your filter is behind your grill so that...
Does it throw a CEL when this happens? If so, the specific code should be a big clue. I ran into a similar issue once with an aftermarket CAI that ingested water and got the MAF wet during heavy rain.
The 0% pedal row is virtually unchanged, and the 100% pedal row was bumped up to make sure you're requesting enough torque at WOT with your mods. The rest of the rows were also bumped up a bit to...
317 to the wheels with 442 calculated at the engine is a 28% drivetrain loss. That seems too high, even for a torque converter.
I suspect something is up with the dyno reading. Don't these things...
Yep, I've just been using Cringer's DynAir formulas. I started out using his VVE Assistant tool too, but have since decided I prefer to simply make averaged changes on a per-zone basis.
What filters (if any) are you applying to your MAF error table in VCM Scanner?
Driver Demand Editor now also supports tables with RPM-referenced columns. Lmk how it works if anyone tries it.
Try these filters instead - https://forum.hptuners.com/showthread.php?105349-What-is-dynamic-airflow&p=748278&viewfull=1#post748278
I used a 20% multiplier on my decel values, and the change was not drastic. This is with a manual transmission, fwiw. You might also explore tweaking your torque request rate limits (see post 26 for...
Not yet, but I do plan to add this functionality in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
I'll DM you my email address so you can send the files directly to me.
These were my stock RPM zone boundaries. Note that 1,200 and 3,200 are center points of my columns rather than lying between cells. I have since shifted them.
That all makes sense. Thanks, guys
I noticed some of my VVE zone boundaries fall between cells (red lines in attachment), but others fall in the middle of a cell (blue lines). Has anyone assessed or thought about whether one situation...
Can anyone verify from experience that it's fine to drive around with the cams parked at 0 degrees to log data for tuning VVE? I can't find whether these engines have an interference design, and I...
Greg brought to my attention that HP Tuners does not yet support the Transmission Current Gear pids for at least one of the latest ECMs, so I updated the app to handle this scenario. But instead of...
This post from Cringer is what sent me down this rabbit hole in the first place:

I just came across this GRG video from 2 years ago. I searched in this forum but couldn't find anything. Has anyone replicated this method, and how well did it work for you?...
I suggest browsing the help documentation, and submit a ticket if you don't find what you're looking for. I doubt any of us here will be able to help you.

Thanks... guess I should have searched before posting. I found a 2017 LGX tune here that has those tables: https://forum.hptuners.com/showthread.php?81058-2017-Camaro-3-6-stock-file-needed
I'll...
Cam timing tables are missing from my ECU (2023 LGX). If your cam timing tables are visible for your LGX/LGZ or LFX/LFY, please share your tune so I know which table IDs to request.
Thanks :hi:
The C7 is already tuned for 91 octane from the factory, so I doubt there would be much to gain safely from adjusting timing.
X-pipe probably yields no significant gains.
CAI might gain you a...
OK thanks, doesn't seem to be a significant difference from the prior version, but you should still be good to use it.
I would recommend the default profile for your first go-around with this...
