Nice!! Yes sir I completely understand what you are saying now! I mean it ALWAYS has been important of course even going back to gen 3 LS applications but man oh man is it ever absolutely critical...
Did you say increase the torque model in the idle load regions??? I am just very curious is all sir as I have tuned quite a number of gen 5 cammed applications now and going at with the approach of...
If anyone out there would happen to have a 2014 Escalade stock file they could share I would greatly appreciate it!!

Anyone out there happen to have a stock or heck even a modified 2010 GMC Acadia file I could definitely use one. Generally not the category of vehicles I am usually doing calibration work on but...

To be done the right way even on a bone stock car/truck the VVE should still be tuned even if the vehicle is being run MAF only. These aren't the days of the much simpler Gen III LS based operating...
The trucks do this A LOT! Hahahaha.
Greg Banish/Calibrated Success just came out with some good training material on the Gen V stuff. ;)
I am working on some things testing out some stuff trying to understand the torque model on these newer gen 5 stuff better yet. Anyways I strongly believe at this point before I 100% verify it that...
Yes sir! That's a fact. Tuned right though they sure do pull hard for a 1.4!! :D
I know the 1.4 in the Cruze DEFINITELY runs out of steam with the stock turbo before even 6k RPMs. Seems like the little bastard is done working "efficiently" at just 5k-5500. Lol.
Nowhere in that log you posted when you are at WOT does delivered engine torque exceed predicted torque, meaning that the DD tables aren't limiting you currently anyways that I can tell BUT I can't...
Yes, log "valve exhaust off sport" that I just looked at, desired and actual boost stayed very close to each other!
Give me till tomorrow at the latest and I'll post your tune file back up for you to try.
