#8 cuts out randomly after a hard run. Eng misses for a while and then clears up, like something is overheating causing it to cut out, then cools and cylinder starts firing again....

I paid for a remote tune and had my car at a well known shop and they both left...
it will fix the current issue, but the wrong way to do it. Pay N2speed, he fixed mine the right way.

If your not in PE, then increase VE there. if you want PE earlier, then decrease pedal voltage to go in earlier.
