Wiring is good, ECM came from a wrecking yard. Would a break in the CANBUS cause any reading errors? Basically if something is not hooked up or plugged in would it cause the ECM to not work?

Helping a friend of mine with his Colorado LS swap. He is using a Current Performance Wiring harness and I helped with the re-pinning that was necessary. The ECM is an E40 out of a 5.3 Trailblazer...
You would need a transmission that has the sensor already, like a 4L70E. You would need the pump, input shaft with reluctor teeth and the internal wiring harness to convert a 4L60E to have the ISS. ...
Have you tried bench reading it?
See if you can't recover the bricked PCM. There are plenty of videos out there showing how to do that.
Did you get one?
That VE table looks to be for a custom 2 BAR OS.
Your 2006 Dodge Magnum is hitting the 190mph speed limiter? What's done to it?
I would contact support and see if they are able to transfer the license from your old device to the new warranty device.
The 411 takes 2 credits to license, so $100 US dollars. What I get from your story is that the first shop had to license two separate computers, then a second tuner had to license it, so total in...
There are several tables that are not listed in HPT that are redundant that need to be changed by the same percentage in order to keep the computer happy.
What kind of vehicle are you trying to read?
Thanks for posting that tool. Took me a moment to create a MATLAB account and install the MATLAB drive, but I got it to work.
They all have the option to run a FF sensor, but HPT has not defined some tables to get it working. You can edit these missing tables via "User Defined Parameters" with and XDF that identifies these...
Try looking at Dell refurbished laptops. They usually come with Windows 10.
Just a couple of things that I have noticed:
- You are sing a custom 1 BAR SD OS but list having the LS3 MAF. Any reason you are not using the Custom 1 BAR MAR OS?
- Your MAF curve flattens out...
What tables are not allowed to be changed? What controller?
Will this work for an MPVI1 as well?
Do you have any copies before you applied the custom OS?
See attached.
I think it should work as long as 5.x does not force update the firmware of the MPVI2 where is won't work on earlier software versions. Also any files saved in 5.x cannot be opened in 4.x.
I would just copy the values.
I can't open your tune, but did you copy over the Primary Volume table? On a Camaro file it goes from 0 to Max, in a stock Avalanche file it goes from Max to 0.
Even if you were to change the warmup threshold temperature, your vehicle would get flagged. Any changes to the tune will cause the checksum numbers not to match and tell the smog people that the...
Depending where you live that value is probably right.
