Did you do a Write Entire when you loaded the segment swap?
It actually just sounds like a slipping sprag in the trans that's causing your problem.

If you disable the MAF, it will force it to SD mode. That forces the engine to run on the VE table instead of the MAF and VE.
You can unplug the MAF and force it to SD.
Have you had your...
That's likely the most difficult combo to get to idle properly that you'll ever tackle. I've tuned a lot of the LSXRT intakes, and they are absolutely terrible.
If you watch the intake manifold...
If you use the Gear/Tire Wizard in the software, it will default to adjust the speedometer and scale the transmission shift tables as well.
That will get you going.
Some of the early 1999-2000 OS's don't play nice with e-fans. I've had a few with the same issue that yours has. I just updated to a later version OS and fixed the issue.
I don't recall ever...
You did good by adding the datalogs. It looks like its just running a little to lean. We just need a little more data on the datalogs to help you dianose the issue.
Add MAP Sensor (kPa)

Looks like you have a couple of issues. The MAF is working, but it's showing very low numbers. You likely installed the MAF backwards.
Problem 2: There's also a big difference in fuel trims...
Followup questions, to boost my understanding of how the system works:
I'm under the impression that, normally, the VE table is used when the MAF is not operational or when RPM exceeds 4000. ...
I tune a lot of P59 applications. My original MPVI seemed to handle them better than the 2, 2+ and 3 do. It's definitely a good idea to remove the radio fuse, SEO fuses and HVAC fuses. I tuned two...
The P59 will not work with a 58X reluctor. You can either change the reluctor or purchase a Lingenfelter 58X to 24X conversion box.
It's a bit unusual to use that table to remove timing. I'm not sure why they did it.
Table 12626 (Fuel Base Correction table) is pulling 4 degrees as soon as you start making boost.
Here's your file with the flex fuel characterization data installed, and a more typical timing table and and VE table from a mildly cammed 5.3L and a stock MAF curve.
Try it and let us know how it...
Oh my! The only time I've ever run that much advance in an LS engine was in some NHRA Stock Eliminator cars!
The injector flow rate is still jacked up as well...that's why it's so rich.
The fuel trims are pretty bad. The PCM is adding around 50% fuel to the passenger bank and around 20% to the driver's side.
Check for vacuum leaks and/or exhaust leaks or misfires or possibly...
Post your current tune and we can assist you with the PE issue.
The FIC injector data that you've listed there isn't even close to the FAST data. Maybe they've changed to a different design over the years.
The Deatschwerks data looks very close to what I've...
Good job Blindsquirrel. I'll bet that fixes the issue.
Blindsquirrel described the issue perfectly. I've seen the P0606 DTC several times lately. The last one was an E38 that was programmed by BP Automotive. It had a P0606 from day 1. Bill at BP was...
Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see if it's simply a fuel pressure issue.
Occasionally, I'll see a bad cam position sensor or bad connector on the cam position sensor that will also cause a...
You'll likely have to update to the newest software.
Here's a good video that Matt Sanford released that actually quantifies the results of tuning the voltage table and FSCM tables.

As far as the...
You're wrong and you're correct.
There are applications that will benefit from higher alternator voltage output. The OP's application is one of those applications that benefits from tweaking this...
That was a good guess Alvin. I worked at FAST for over 23 years before I began my full-time tuning career. I was there back in the day when it was still FP Electronics.
I can confirm that the...
You're correct. The injector characterization data is all wrong for those injectors. FAST just decaps the LS3 injectors. That makes for an injector flowrate of around 94 lb/hr at 58 psi.
There...
