Yes, gen 3 car, gen 3 truck, gen 4 car, gen 4 truck (ALL GM)
Hey everyone. I THINK this is a relatively easy question, but after submitting a help ticket, HpTuners hasn't replied with an answer.
Are 17 Holdens (Gen 4 e38) covered under the unlimited gen 4...
Yes. I've always turned off converter lock up on the 1st four gears cammed. It feels so much smoother. Then you have to see when the car can comfortably lock without the drivetrain slack and cam...
FWIW, this still works in 2023...
He normally runs the same size tires front and rear, so to avoid this with the street tires, we decided to not mess with it. If he decides to run these full time I will configure them and see, so...
Yes. I assume that to be the cause as well.
Now it is time to get more pump to this thing and see if we can get it dialed in!
Thank you... Also, I corrected the fast torque exit back to stock as well.
FWIW, I've never sen this on a gen 4 either!?
FWIW, I did that (spark tables) as a test. I put it back with a tune that was closer to what it came off of the dyno with and, of course it did it, until I clicked the TCS button and it immediately...
I couldn't find a stock version of your tune. Do you happen to have it?
Whenever there is an issue like this, I like to work backwards towards stock until the issue goes away.
That is one thing I haven't tried! I will this afternoon. I have been taking a break from it and working on different projects. You know how it is when you have an issue that just doesn't make...
It doesn't matter! Everyone is learning all of the time when tuning.
I did. It shows ETC type drag and Spark type TCS. Disabled TCS, no real difference.
PGA2B. It seems like the 09s request a lower amount of FP during low volume needs than the later years...
Yes, I will post a log soon.
This is a new one.
2009 CTS-v
Small cam
LT headers
Aggressive pulley setup.
Looking a stock 2007 Tundra tune if anyone has one. Doing some very minor changes for a friend and would like to look through it before doing so. I did look in the look thread with all of the...
Update. I believe that to be the case as well. We are getting the truck back soon to confirm.
Thanks Alvin!
We tune a lot of Gen 3 trucks and such, but this one is exhibiting a strange issue.
If you start spinning straight it will spin until you let off (or gets deep into 2nd), but if you floor it and...
Even with internet connection?
Got a 2020 Mustang coming in and need to load a Lund tune. I have no issues with the MPVI on 2017 up GM, so wondering why the Ford stuff is different.
Thanks!
Very strange one, indeed. Speaking of E40s, anyone have a way to log a misfire data in SD mode for the E40s?
Few things I noticed.
The voltage drops when the MAF drops? Coincidence? I dunno...
Timing is OK IMO. Could try a little more, but LS usually not gaining much after 27 or so on pump gas....
I think with the 3.31 gear and turbo lag you just need more converter. Log looks OK...(I haven't looked in the tune yet)
It solved my issue. Previous builder/tuner did not have knock sensors installed correctly, so once it started to throw the pending knock code it pulled max timing. Temporarily disabled the knock...
Thanks for following up with answers. I am about to go outside and see if it fixes this issue on an 03 Escalade with an 04 Silverado ECM that runs great first few pulls, then pulls max timing...
Yes. Passenger side for sure as you can see it go lean when it misses.
No MAF at all.
Alvin, I THINK you may of tuned or helped with the tuning on this truck initially. Has a PCM4Less...
Using Hptuners to scan with. I was THINKING the MAF being disabled was the issue as well.
It NEVER sees misfires, but knock sensors are operational.
It came modified and tuned as-is. I...
This TBSS just stopped by yesterday and it has a miss under moderate load. Simply turned on p0300 and put the misfire data back to stock, but they are ALWAYS 0, all the time. We just want to narrow...
