At full pedal, 100% commanded throttle, the most throttle i see in the scanner is 39.1%. What's up with that? I don't have anyone to push the pedal while I look at the t.b.
I know, but I hate adding a bunch of "stuff" if it can be done with the hardware and software already installed.
Hi, I have 2 electric fans on my LS4 swapped Montana all wheel drive. Actually, three. Two small fans mounted diagonally opposed on the radiator and a third fan mounted on the trans cooler behind the...
That did it... Ain't even gonna spend one second wondering why. Lol! Thanks for the tip. I really appreciate it.
Cool. Thanks man! Ill let you know.
Here is my latest tune.
I'm afraid my speedometer is a wiring issue, too. Nothing I do with the tune affects the speed reading (double actual speed)
Post my tunes? Are you asking for the .hpt file? I have to do that from my laptop. Can't do it from my smartphone. I will try to upload it tonight.
I dont have my 2002 van in hp. But I do have a 2004. The numbers in the speedo calibration make absolutely no sense.
Hardware
Vss p/rev - trans = 9.1055
Gear ratio & tire size
Drive sprocket...
2002 chevy venture awd 3.4 os:12223488
2008 Grand Prix GXP LS4 5.3 E67 os: 12618164
Did you ever figure out this issue? My speedo (2002) reads double. 2008 ecm.
All the values in speedometer calibration are correct for gear ratio, tire rev/mile (I always measure actual tire roll-out and calculate). The vss is set to RepTOS. I changed to serial, nothing...
Yay! Didnt realize the calibration for the gas gauge was so involved. Entered my new capacity, scaled it backwards, and the gauge works correctly now. Thanks for the tip!
Now, for the speedometer.
2008 LS4 in a 2002 Pontiac Montana.
Scanner shows ECM speed output same as speedo, exactly double. So its not an instrument error.
Not too much differemt bt 2002 and 2008. I wouldnt have...
nevermind. I found it in the programs list.
I went right to the bottom line, 4.0 stand alone. It seemed to load ok, but it gave me the options, "repair" or "replace" 4.0. I don't have 4.0 yet. I clicked repair and it did whatever it wanted to...
1987-1990 Grand Am/Sunbird 2.0L turbo!
I personally like the 89-90GA. 28-32mpg if you stick with the 5-speed and 3.61 gears. The cars run low 14's stock. A custom chip, small FMIC and 15psi will...
I see someone mentioned looking at scan logs and seeing g/cyl higher or lower. How do you set up your scanner to show where you are in g/cyl?
I am having fits with timing and KR from 3500-4500,...
Anyone tuning a 3900 VVT, with or without AFM? I am contemplating an engine swap and hope tuning this thing will be a possibility. I want to do the LZ8, with Active Fuel Mgmt. It'll be going into my...
I am using the 3.05 diff with the stock 37-tooth drive/33-tooth driven chain sprockets for a 2.72 final drive (sorry, the 2.79 was an erroneous statement)
Here's what bugs me about the GM tuning....
The "read" file is the stock 2.93 (3.29) I downloaded it and used it to attempt the gear ratio swap in the "2.79" (3.05) file.
thanks, I have been tuning with another program for years and still not used to seeing things differently in HP.
anybody?
