The weather and DA is written on the timeslips. The temps were close to the same, but the humitity was higher on the latest trip. That's why I corrected the times to sea level to see what the car...
After the tuning help I have had and little tweaks after many logs it looks as though the car didn't pick up any ET in the 1/4 mile :(
I got rid of the bog off the line, timing drop between...
Locking up the converter that much during the run can't be good for the converter. Most everyone I have talked to that locks up the converter during the run only does it at the top of 3rd.
Does anyone have a tranny tune that shifts quicker with slightly firmer (close to stock) shifts in D for cruising and fast, hard, chrisp shifts in S mode for racing? I have the "racing tune" down,...
I did a couple of logs fron the stock tune and the new "tranny tune". It looks like the torque management and the drop in timing has been fixed with the new tune :D
One thing I did notice in the...
I don't know how slow the paddles are on the Vette compared to the G8's, but they are pretty damn slow on the Vette.
TTT any plans anytime soon?
Can you elaberate a little more on what tables need some work?
I have been working on reducing TM, lowering shift speeds, etc...Just basically trying to make the A6 more responsive. I could use some help. Attached is my tranny tune please feel free to look it...
Is there any program that I can save my logs from the track so that the converter manufacturer can look at without having HPTuners? Is there maybe a beta scanner he can download to look at my logs?...
Ahhh ok thanks. Looks a little low for a 4800 converter to me. This was a 4400 that I had them loosen up to a 4800 and it really doesn't look like they did. It looks to me about where a 4000 stall...
Not that I can feel. Why would you say that?
How did you see 3800 at 100% TPS and 0 mph? When I look at it 1924 rpm is 100% TPS and 0 mph. Then it goes to 3844 rpm at 100 % TPS and 2mph.
According to the flash stall method you posted it looks like to me it flashes around 1924 rpm.
Could ya'll check this log out and see what you think?
I have a couple of logs from the track and as I was looking them over noticed after I brake stall the converter it flashes way to high from the looks of it. I'm not sure if I am looking at them...
How do you go the other direction though? I want to go from SD (secondary VE) to MAF (primary VE)?
I'm going back MAF and have my secondary VE in line now I have to transfer the values over to the primary for the MAF. The question is when you tune in SD you use the secondary VE table which goes in...
I guess I don't understand this statement. Could you give me an example?
Thanks.
Ok I thought the adde air to the throttle cracker fixed it (well it did for a little while), but now it's back to the same old stuff and the cruise effect :banghead:
I added a lot of air in the throttle cracker and it seemed to help a bunch, but now it cruses. I guess I will have to deal with one or the other.
Here is the log with IAC and the tune.
Yea large cam (T-Rex 242/248) I should have pobably put that in my sig :D
I did some timing adjustments last night. The only way I could get it to idle was lower them to around 15-16 in my idle...
I tried that and no change. Anyone else have any other ideas?
